Reaction Types

There are five different types of reactions. They are synthesis, decomposition, single replacement, double replacement, and combustion reactions.

Synthesis reactions: A + B = AB.

Decomposition reactions: AB = A + B

Single replacement reactions: A + BC = AC + B

Double replacement reactions: AB + CD = CB + AD

Combustion reactions: Fire/Explosions (H2 + O2 = H2O)
